Surrounded by mountains and located on the waterfront in the heart of downtown Vancouver — within walking distance of 13,000 hotel rooms — the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre (VCEC) demonstrates a commitment to service and technical excellence combined with high-quality banqueting. It won the AIPC Apex Award for "World's Best Congress Centre" in 2002 and was named a finalist in 2004. 

Famous for its Five Sails — a Vancouver landmark — the VCEC offers more than 150,000 ft² of highly flexible function space. Scheduled to complete in spring 2009, its major expansion will triple the size of the existing facility to nearly 500,000 ft².
